Manage your TO DO list with Quick View

You can see an overview of everything you and your team are working on across several projects with a Quick-View To-Do board. Weekdays, months, phases, clients, projects, or any other method that works for the team can be used to structure high-level boards. Simply said, a high-level board is the first step in creating a more efficient workflow!

Quick View board organization

Groups: We can divide our team work into groups based on the stages of our tasks, or by weekdays, or by Epics groups, or any grouping format we feel that will assist our team to manage its work.
Items: Each key milestone within a phase of our work is represented by an item on our board.
Columns: The columns on our board enable us to keep track of all of the relevant data points in one spot. Here are a couple column kinds that we think are important:

  • Assignee Column: Assign who is accountable for completing a task, reviewing a paper, or scheduling the meeting for the next week.

  • Status Column: You can track the progress of an item, and you can set the Status progress column to present the progress of the task value per status.

  • Date column: You can set date fields to represent the task due date. You can set a date status icon to assist you to see if this tasks’s date was on-time, missed, or needs attention.

  • Numbers Column: you can specify estimated work hours, expenses, or any number relevant for the task. The Quick View board can sum-up numbers per each Category / Group.

  • DropDown Values Column: any predefined drop down field can be matched with a color, to ease the presentation of information, and reflect different values in a clear and colorful way.

Quick View for Project Managment

You may use the Quick-View board to get a quick overview of one or more projects so you always know where things stand. Managers and team leaders who need to know how the project is developing but don't need to examine every detail can benefit from this type of board. They may also be utilized as a center for collaboration and updates by a full team!

 

Grouping

A group is a part of your board that is color-coded and includes your objects (rows). Our groups are very important to us because they help us categorize the information on our board. Our goods may be grouped in an infinite number of ways!

Quarters, months, phases, clients, projects, or any other method that works for the team may be grouped on high-level boards like our "Project Board." We've divided our groups into phases and assigned our actions (items) to the appropriate phase! Our activities are major tasks or project milestones.

You can set Groups by any free format, or use Epics as groups - This will automatically will present all the Epics tasks in that group. Or set any linked based connection as a group (e.g. all tasks that blocks certain task).

 

Columns

Our board's foundation is made up of columns, which come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Each column can be utilized in a number of ways.

Set Up your customer list

Set up a project / Board for managing your customers. Customize your create fields (and issue type if needed) with the customer details.

Categorize and group your customers

Groups are a wonderful method to organize your data into distinct categories. You might, for example, treat each group as a month to observe how many people joined each month. We've divided our CRM board into three areas in this example:

  • Incoming leads are those who have just signed up for a trial account but have not yet made a purchase.

  • Won accounts - This category includes all of our current and paying clients.

  • Lost leads - Our sales staff has previously contacted these prospects, however they are not interested in moving further with us.

Customize your Quick View board with columns

There's no limit to how you may design your board to meet the demands of your team. Just add the needed Jira columns to your display.

Advanced columns options:

  • Assignee Column: You can select the person who is responsible of the account lead. You will see the Assignee picture for easy identification.

  • Status Column: You can track each sale stage of the lead, and you can set the Status progress column to present the progress of the lead funnel value per status.

  • Date column: You can set date fields to represent initial contact, or last date contacted. you can set a date status icon to assist you to see if this date was missed, or needs attention.

  • Numbers Column: you can specify deal size, or any number relevant for the deal. the Quick View board can sum-up numbers per each Category / Group.

  • DropDown Values Column: any predefined drop down field can be matched with a color, to ease the presentation of information, and reflect different values in a clear and colorful way.

Quick Edit on the Go

You can now update all the displaced field on the Quick-View board with out the need to open a Jira edit screen, Just update the values on the screen , and you’re done.
