The Dashboard is a rich set of KPI that allows you to review sprint information, trends, team performance and comparison, and much more process insights.
The dashboard is reachable from the top menu, when clicking on the Sprints Dashboard tab.
In the page opened, you can view the following:
Backlog %
Total tasks
Overdue tasks
Completed items in %
Story points spent per sprint
Average story points spent per sprint
Planned vs Actual percentage over sprints
Potential vs Planned percentage over sprints
The calculations are affected by the Jira board settings (Board settings → Estimation → Estimation Statistic). The available options supported are: Story Points or Original Time Estimate.
Backlog % - shows the percentage of the backlog issues that have estimation values. The count is for the issues that are estimated according to the statistics defined in the board setting (story points, original time estimation or due time).
Total tasks - shows the number of backlog issues. I.e., issues that are not associated to any of the project sprint.
Overdue tasks - shows the number of issues which are passed their planned completion.
In addition, you can create reports for individual teams, sprints, and version. The default is showing the data for the entire project.
