Sprint Capacity Planning relies on the Sprint feature from Jira Software. This feature is available on Scrum Boards only. This plugin will not work with Kanban Boards

Overview

The Sprint Capacity Planning & Tracking application for Jira, provides an accurate and comprehensive view of your agile sprints, for clear planning and tracking. Sprint Capacity Planning & Tracking is available in the context of your Jira Boards, in the Backlog view. It adds an additional level of visibility to your daily sprint(s) and team(s) management tools. The app has the following features:

  • Support of time based estimation, or story points, across multiple boards of every project.

  • Setting teams, of different disciplines, that participate in each of your sprints, with their time/points capacity.

  • Before a sprint start - viewing and adjusting the load percentage on each team or individual or team, to verify proper resource effort balancing and efficiency.

  • During the sprint - tracking the completion of activity, compared to the expected, at any time of the sprint, to get insight about work progress, and possible adjustments.

  • After the sprint - viewing comprehensive reports of sprints and team work, to identify patterns and lesson learned.

  • Extensive configuration options to suit your issue completion definition, task/sub-task usage and much more.

 

The UI of Sprint Capacity Planning & Tracking supports normal as well as Dark Mode.
